"What kind of community will cross over social and ethnic boundaries, like the Samaritan, and share in Christ's mission?
...As I understand ministry and faith in the city, they cannot be abstracted from particular communities and the narratives they embody."
To Live in Peace, from
441 Ministries is a Christian non-profit organization, which partners with local churches and other like-minded organizations to bring hope, healing, and holistic development through the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Beechwood neighborhood of Rochester.
To see our neighborhood flourish spiritually, relationally, and economically as the gospel of Jesus Christ is expressed in the thoughts, words and deeds of it's residents.
The core of our ministry is made up of faithful church and individual partners who share our vision of community transformation for Beechwood, and passionately live that out through the volunteering of time, talents, resources, and finances. This core is represented daily in the neighborhood who have felt called to live out the 3 Rs of Christian Community Development.
